This exciting urban project is an adaptive reuse and redevelopment of the former OUC Administration Building to a proposed Starwood Aloft hotel. The Starwood Aloft brand (www.starwoodhotels.com/alofthotels) is a unique lifestyle hotel that incorporates the design elements of the W Hotel brand while catering to a more budget-conscious clientele. The project is expected to qualify for LEED designation and will incorporate environmentally-friendly construction materials and mechanical systems. The hotel will contain approximately 119 guest rooms, meeting space, a fitness center and other amenities. It will have a generous lobby with comfortable furnishings, billiards, light food and bar service. 899 North Orange will be located on a 2.5-acre site at the corner of North Orange Avenue and Marks Street in downtown Orlando.
